Bridport Community Hospital

Volunteers are required to help in the coffee shop and take the trolley service around the ward.  We would like to start a weekend service. If this role interests you- Contact us on email tlofbh@gmail.com or enquire via the coffee shop. Task description and volunteer application form can be found on membership page of this website. All volunteers have a DBS check (The Disclosure and Barring Service Code of Practice). This is carried out by the Dorset HealthCare.
If you would like to help on the wards there are a number of roles that the ward staff and patients would appreciate help. These include helping with the morning coffee or afternoon tea round or at meal times. Helping with the weekly activity session or by being a visiting time companion seeing patients who have infrequent visits.
These volunteer roles are managed by the staff at the hospital. Contact - Hospital secretary  01308 422371. If you wish to see a task description before applying to the hospital please email tlofbh@gmail.com. We ask all volunteers to become a member of the League of Friends
